According to a report by MyDaily on the 7th, Jeon So-nee has been cast as the female lead in the drama "Love Affair".

"Love Affair" is a melodramatic thriller that tells the story of a man who encounters a catastrophic, fate-like love, leading to a destructive romance.

In the drama, Jeon So-nee plays Gong Hoo-kyeong, an architect. On her way to Madrid, she coincidentally meets Lee Dong-wook (Kim Ji-hoon). The two whisper words of love, even though they have just met. Unable to control her feelings for him, she eventually returns to Korea, described as a hell-like place for her, in search of that love once again.

"Love Affair" tells the story of a love that people know will end badly, but cannot stop.

The male lead Kim Ji-hoon, a team leader at the Korean Intellectual Property Office, is played by Lee Dong-wook. Meanwhile, the secondary female lead and Kim Ji-hoon's wife, popular YouTuber Lee Seon-hee, will be portrayed by Jung Yu-mi.

Jeon So-nee previously drew attention through projects such as "Parasyte: The Grey", "Melo Movie", and especially last year's "As You Stood By". With this new drama, she will take on the role of the protagonist in a bold and dangerous love story.

The script is written by Ha Soo-jin, known for "Sell Your Haunted House" and "The Matchmakers", while directing is handled by Mo Wan-il, who previously directed "Misty" and "The World of the Married".
