The agency Story J Company said on the 14th, "Actor Joo Min-kyung was cast in the Netflix original "The Trunk".

"The Trunk" is a mystery melodrama about a secret marriage service that begins to be revealed by a trunk floating on the lake and the strange marriage story of two men and women in it.

In the drama, Joo Min-kyung plays Yoon-ah, the wife of Hyeon-cheol (Hong Woo-jin), the owner of the label that includes music producer Jeong Won (Gong Yoo). Yoon-ah has built a stable and normal family with her husband and two children, but she has deep emptiness and oppression inside. With her unique cool yet light charm, Joo Min-kyung plans to elevate the drama's immersion level by delicately portraying Yoon-ah's complex emotions.

Earlier, Joo Min-kyung built a solid filmography through some dramas such as tvN's "No Gain No Love", JTBC's "Behind your Touch", JTBC's "Green Mothers' Club", SBS's "Jirisan" and MBC's "One Spring Night".
