Jung Hae-in and Shin Sae-kyeong's "Love Virus" Confirmed for 2027 Release on TVING

Actors Jung Hae-in and Shin Sae-kyeong's upcoming romance drama "Love Virus" has officially been confirmed for release on TVING in 2027.

According to JoyNews24 on the 1st, "Love Virus", starring Jung Hae-in and Shin Sae-kyeong, has been confirmed as a TVING original series for 2027 and recently began filming. The drama was originally slated to air on JTBC, but after the network began rehabilitation proceedings, it was ultimately moved to TVING following discussions.

"Love Virus" is a romance drama about a couple who have been dating for nine years and are each other's first love. Before getting married, they decide to take a 'break' and meet other people to make sure they have no lingering feelings for anyone else.

Kim Seok-yoon, the director of JTBC's "The Light in Your Eyes" and "My Liberation Notes", will helm the series.

Jung Hae-in will play Ha Do-woon, a lawyer who seemingly has it all, while Shin Sae-kyeong will portray Kang Chae-rin, a dentist. The two will play a long-term couple of nine years who are preparing to get married, showcasing their romantic chemistry on screen. Kim Dong-hwi-I and Jo Yu-ri will also join the cast, forming intriguing relationships with the leads and adding both excitement and fun to the story.

Previously, Jung Hae-in appeared on the SBS variety show "Whenever Possible" and talked about "Love Virus", saying, "This time, it's a proper love story. There's no action", adding, "I'm glad I don't have to wear fake blood".

Jung Hae-in has established himself as a 'master of romance' by showcasing different charms in every project, including JTBC's "Something in the Rain". MBC's "One Spring Night", tvN's "Love Next Door", and Netflix's "Our Sticky Love". Meanwhile, "Love Virus" marks Shin Sae-kyeong's return to the romance genre six years after JTBC's "Run On".
