tvN's new drama "Pro Bono" (written by Moon Yoo-suk, directed by Kim Seong-yoon) unveiled its main cast lineup on the 28th. "The casting of Jung Kyung-ho and So Ju-yeon has been confirmed", it said.
"Pro Bono" is a comic human courtroom drama. It is a story about a snob judge who is desperate for success and unintentionally becomes a public interest lawyer. It is a new work written by "The Devil Judge" Moon Yoo-suk.
Jung Kyung-ho plays Kang David, a judge-turned-lawyer dedicated to public interest. He was once an influencer in the legal profession. However, he is caught up in an unexpected incident and steps down from his profession.
So Ju-yeon plays the role of Park Gi-bbeum, a legal fan and public interest lawyer. She has the opposite tendency to David. She considers helping good citizens who rely on the law an act of healing.
The two will join forces as lawyers belonging to Pro Bono, a corporation. They defend chaebols and use the money they earn to realize justice. They try to help those who have nowhere to go.
