Jung Yi-seo to Appear in "The WONDERfools"

The Netflix series "The WONDERfools" (directed by Yoo In-sik, written by Heo Da-joong) is a supernatural comic adventure set at the end of the millennium in 1999. It follows a group of ordinary neighborhood misfits who accidentally gain superpowers and struggle to protect the world from villains threatening peace.

Jung Yi-seo plays the role of Seok Joo-ran, a character who joins forces with the man she believes to be her father, Ha Won-do Son Hyun-joo, to pursue twisted desires.

Jung Yi-seo has previously demonstrated her wide acting range through films such as "Parasite", "Samjin Company English Class", "Josee", "Decision to Leave", and "The Killers", as well as dramas like "Voice 3", "Tale of the Nine Tailed", "All of Us Are Dead", and "A Killer Paradox".

In particular, she left a strong impression in the Netflix series "When Life Gives You Tangerines", where she played Song Boo-sun, the daughter of a Seoul boarding house where Yang Geum-myeong (Lee Ji-eun) stays.

Meanwhile, "The WONDERfools" is set to premiere on May 15th.
