Actor Kang Jun-kyu has been cast in "The Legend of Kitchen Soldier", where he will star alongside Park Jihoon.

The TVING original series "The Legend of Kitchen Soldier" is a military cooking fantasy drama that follows Private Kang Sung-jae as he rises to become a 'legendary cook soldier'.
In the drama, Kang Jun-gyu plays Joo Sang-wook, a senior soldier in the barracks of the outpost where the protagonist Kang Seong-jae (Park Jihoon) is stationed. Joo Sang-wook is a friendly and down-to-earth character who adds vitality to the story with his scene-stealing charm.
Kang Jun-gyu has proven his solid acting skills through various dramas such as "Shooting Star", "Tastefully Yours", and "Phantom Lawyer". In this project, he is expected to resonate with viewers by portraying a relatable, 'realistic corporal' character.
"The Legend of Kitchen Soldier" will premiere on May 11th via TVING and tvN.
