She posted pictures on her Instagram of herself and newly wedded husband Kang Kyung-joon.

They got married on the 25th of May. They starred in a JTBC drama together in 2013.

While preparing for the wedding, they appeared on the SBS TV show "You're My Destiny 2" but quit right before the wedding. They then re-appeared on the 11th after they got married.

On the episode on the 18th of June, Jang Shin-young and Kang Kyung-joon wanted to hang up their wedding picture in the house but in consideration of her son Jung-ahn, decided to put that thought on hold. They set about to take a family picture with Sin-young's son.
