Kang You-seok to Join "The Miracles of the Namiya General Store"

Rising actor Kang You-seok is joining "The Miracles Of The Namiya General Store".

According to an entertainment industry source on the 12th, Kang You-seok has been cast in the Korean drama adaptation of the famous novel by Japanese author Keigo Higashino. The story follows three thieves who hide in the Namiya General Store, a place where the past and present intersect. While replying to letters seeking advice, they uncover the secret of miraculous connections intertwined with their own lives. Actors Kim Hye-yoon, Lee Chae-min, Ryu Seung-ryong, Yum Jung-ah, and Park Se-wan are currently considering roles.

The drama version of "The Miracles Of The Namiya General Store" is planned as a 10-episode OTT series. Casting is in full swing, and in addition to the actors mentioned, many other well-known performers are reportedly in talks to appear.

Kang You-seok is expected to play Jae-wook, the leader of the three thieves, guiding the story alongside Lee Chae-min and others. He has built a strong presence through various projects.
