Kangin Fined W7 Million for Drunk Driving

Kangin of boy group Super Junior has been fined W7 million for driving under influence earlier in May (US$1=W1,092).

The Seoul Central District Court on Wednesday ordered the singer to pay the fine.

Kangin crashed into a street lamp in Sinsa-dong, southern Seoul on May 24 while driving his Mercedes-Benz sedan and fled the scene. Later that day he turned himself into police and admitted to drunk driving.

In October 2009, he was also fined W8 million for a similar offence.
