KARA Stay on Top of Japanese DVD Chart

The girl band Kara, though plagued with internal strife, maintains its hold over Japanese fans, with DVD "Kara Best Clips" released on Feb. 23 topped the Oricon DVD Weekly chart for the second week running.

Kara are the first foreign band to top this chart for two weeks in a row since the category started in 1999. The DVD sold more than 150,000 copies in two weeks, including 130,000 in just the first week.

Kara release their third single in Japan "Jet Coaster Love" on March 23.
