KBS Miniseries "Terms of Endearment" to Be Shown in China

China's CCTV-1 will broadcast the popular KBS TV2 weekend miniseries "Terms of Endearment", starring actress Han Ka-in, who is getting married soon. KBS said on April 27 that the drama will be put on the air in China starting May 1.
A previous KBS daily series, "Yellow Handkerchief", is currently being shown on CCTV-8. KBS said it is quite unprecedented for the Chinese broadcaster to run Korean dramas on two channels concurrently, which attests to the global competitiveness of Korean television dramas.
Another KBS TV2 weekend series, "Precious Family", which is currently being shown in Korea, was exported to the Taiwanese broadcaster Video Land. KBS said very few dramas have been exported overseas while they were still airing in Korea. The broadcaster also added that "Precious Family" received recognition abroad even though it does not feature any "hallyu" stars.
So far, KBS has exported "Wife", "Rosemary", "Beauty Beyond Expression" and "She Rocks" to Video Land.
