Keum Sae-rok in "Iron Family"

Actress Keum Sae-rok will cast in "The Iron Family" and work with Kim Jung-hyun.

Keum Sae-rok has confirmed her appearance as Lee Da-rim in KBS 2TV's special weekend drama "Iron Family" which is scheduled to premiere in September.

"Iron Family" is a romantic black comedy in which Da-rim's family irons money instead of clothes. It is the first weekend drama by Seo Sook-hyang, who wrote "Wok of Love", "Don't Dare to Dream" and "Pasta".

Keum Sae-rok is transformed into Lee Da-rim, the youngest daughter of a clean laundry shop run by three generations. Da-rim suffers from an incurable disease, in which her vision gradually narrows after the age of 14. Da-rim, who has a strong inner mind, is handicapped with sight, but he does not condone compassion for herself with a strong and courageous mind. Ironically, she finds a cure like a miracle, but she is frustrated by the extremely expensive treatment costs. Even dreaming is regarded as a torture of hope, but one day, she reunites with Seo Kang-joo (Kim Jung-hyun), who she shares unforgettable memories, for the first time in eight years.

Keum Sae-rok, who is trying to make a drastic image transformation for this work, is expected to create a new wind in the weekend drama with her chemistry with Kim Jung-hyun.

Meanwhile, "Iron Family" will premiere in September following "Beauty and Mr. Romantic".
