Kim Hyang-gi Cast For "Hallan"

Kim Hyang-gi has confirmed his appearance in "Hallan".

The movie company will begin production of the movie "Hallan" in earnest by casting Kim Hyang-gi as the main character.

"Hallan" is a period drama set in Jeju and it is about a mother and daughter's struggle for survival period. Kim Hyang-gi will play the role of Ah-jin a mother in her 20s in the movie, to show the toughness of Jeju women's lives at that time.

Kim Hyang-gi said, "I thought it was a work where I could learn a lot not only as an actor Kim Hyang-gi but also as a person Kim Hyang-gi. As it is a work that requires me to feel responsible, I will try with reverence. I hope the power of the story felt in the scenario of "Hallan" is well conveyed".

Director Ha Myeong-mi, who wrote and directed the work, said, "Even though it is a difficult role, I don't know how much strength it is that Kim Hyang-gi holds hands to join me. I will show a strong drama that protects humanity to the end through the difficult journey of Ah-in".

"Hallan" will be presented to the audience in 2025.
