Kim Joo-ryoung on "Spring Garden", "I Had a Dream About Horror Movies"

Actor Kim Joo-ryoung said she had a dream about horror movies.

On the afternoon of the 19th, a press preview and press conference of the movie "Spring Garden" was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and directors Jo Yoon-hee, Kim Joo-ryoung and Ku Born attended.

Kim Joo-ryoung said about her appearance in the horror movie, "The writers who wrote "Spring Garden" were the writers who worked with me on a drama, so I decided to appear in it because they approached me with it first", adding, "I also have a dream about horror movies, and I wanted to try being possessed".

"I don't look for horror movies because I'm scared, but what the director asked me to watch as a reference was the movies " Heritage" and "The Shining", she said. "I was really scared so I skipped some parts, but I had a desire to do more horror acting. If I have another chance, I want to take this opportunity to do something that can show extreme fear".

Regarding difficult scenes in the movie, she said, "Actually, I filmed more scenes, but it's a pity that they didn't all come out in the movie", adding, "Before filming the possession scene, the production company prepared a teacher for me to practice my movements and she was there on site to advise me on anything. There were many scenes where I was on wires, so I also went to action school".

Meanwhile, "Spring Garden" is a movie about the beginning of the horror that occur in Korea's three largest haunted houses following the Gonjiam Psychiatric Hospital and Yeongdeok Sashimi Restaurant in North Gyeongsang Province. Director Ku Born, the producer of "The Medium" has taken the megaphone.

Jo Yoon-hee plays So-hee, who lost her happy family due to her husband's sudden death, and Kim Joo-ryoung plays So-hee's older sister, Hye-ran.

The movie will be released on the 21st.
