Actor Kim Jung-hyun is to star in new drama "Why Don't You Know I'm a Woman?"

According to Edaily on the 11th, Kim Jung-hyun will appear in tvN's upcoming drama "Why Don't You Know I'm a Woman?", set to air in 2026. The drama is a gender-bender office romantic comedy based on the popular webtoon and web novel of the same name. Kim will play Kim Si-hyeon, a lawyer in the legal team of Samgang Group.
"Why Don't You Know I'm a Woman?" follows the story of Yoon I-joon (Yim Si-wan), a third-generation chaebol and suspect in a female secretary murder case, and Kang Jae-hee (Seol In-ah), a former special forces officer turned human weapon with strength and combat skills surpassing most men.
Kim Si-hyeon, Kim Jung-hyun's character, is Yoon I-joon's long-time friend and legal counsel. He is expected to share romantic-comedy chemistry with his colleague, the company president's secretary, Lee Hye-jeong.
Kim Jung-hyun debuted in 2015 with the film "Overman". He has since appeared in dramas including "Don't Dare to Dream", "Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People", "School 2017", "Welcome to Waikiki", "Time", "Crash Landing on You", "Mr. Queen", "Kokdu: Season of Deity", and "Iron Family". Recently, he showcased his variety skills on KBS2's "Going Jung, Coming Jung Lee Min-jung" and made a special appearance in JTBC's "A Hundred Memories", further highlighting his presence.
