The tvN drama "The Heavenly Idol" (directed by Park So-yeon-I, written by Lee Cheon-geum) deals with the adaptation of the entertainment industry of Lembrary, a pontifex who becomes a nameless Korean idol. It's a drama version of the original webtoon of the same name.
Actor Kim Min-kyu will play the role of Lembrary who plays Woo Yeon-woo, a Wild Animal member in his five-year anniversary of their debut. Go Bo-gyeol plays Kim Dal, who became a wild animal manager to save his favorite idol who claims to be from this world.
The first poster released showed Kim Min-kyu praying earnestly with the phrase "God, please make me succeed as an idol". In the second poster, the phrase "My favorite has become a little weird" and Go Bo-gyeol, who is winking with a photo card, were captured.
A poster drawn by the original webtoon artist of "The Heavenly Idol" was also presented. The highly synchronized painting, which seems to have moved Kim Min-kyu intact from his eyes to the tip of his fingers and the shape of his eyebrows, catches the eye.
"The Heavenly Idol" will premiere at 10:30 PM on the 15th of next month.
