"The Heavenly Idol" (directed by Park So-yeon-I, written by Lee Cheon-geum, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Pitapat Studio Highground) is based on the web novel of the same title, and deals with a little-known celebrity idol who is possessed by the spirit of Lembrary, a powerful godly figure and becomes an idol overnight.
Director Park So-yeon-I and writer Lee Cheon-geum, as well as Kim Min-kyu (Lembrary and Woo Yeon-woo), Go Bo-gyeol (Kim Dal), Lee Jang-woo (Sin Jo-woon), and Ye Ji-won (Im Seon-ja) attended the scene of the script reading.
First of all, Kim Min-kyu expressed the amazing situation of becoming a member of the unknown idol group "Wild Animal" in the fantasy world with a sly performance. In particular, his funny Haochae tone from the Daeshingwan drew laughter.
Go Bo-gyeol, who plays Kim Dal, the manager of "Wild Animal" and as a real fan of Woo Yeon-woo, deals with the chaotic situation of his idol turned into someone else in a comical and cute way. The two show off their chemistry as Daeshingwan, who has to succeed as an unknown idol, a real fan, an idol, and a manager who is trying to save his favorite idol.
Lee Jang-woo makes a bold acting transformation as Sin Jo-woon, vice chairman of an entertainment company possessed by the fantasy world's devil Lumena. On top of that, Ye Ji-won shows her unrivaled charisma as the 'elected' representative of the agency of "Wild Animal".
The production team said, "The synergy of the cast and the combination of unique characters gave us endless laughter. From Kim Min-kyu's absurd adaptation to the entertainment industry, to Kim Min-kyu and Go Bo-gyeol's sacred romantic comedy, please look forward to the broadcast. "
