Kim Min-seok in "Human X Gumiho"

Actor Kim Min-seok is continuing his busy streak with "Human X Gumiho".

According to a report by JoyNews24 on the 18th, Kim Min-seok has confirmed his appearance in JTBC's upcoming drama "Human X Gumiho" (directed by Kim Jung-sik-I, written by Im Me-ah-ri) and attended the script reading held on the 16th.

"Human X Gumiho" is a fantasy romantic comedy about a mysterious variable (x) that unfolds when a seductive, human-bewitching being and a human who attracts supernatural entities meet at a fateful crossroads.

The project brings together director Kim Jung-sik-I, praised for "No Gain No Love" and "Strong Girl Nam-soon", and writer Im Me-ah-ri, known for creating beloved romantic comedies such as "Doom at Your Service" and "Beauty Inside - Drama".

The drama has already generated major buzz with Jun Ji-hyun cast as the gumiho Goo Ja-hong, and Ji Chang-wook as Choi Seok, a powerful shaman and the director of the Oseong Museum. Alongside them, Cha Joo-young, Kim Seolhyun, and Kang You-seok have confirmed their appearances, with Kim Min-seok joining to complete a star-studded lineup. Hwang In-youp will make a special appearance.

After showcasing his solid acting skills in tvN's "Typhoon Family" last year, Kim Min-seok continues his active run, following his casting in director Ahn Pan-seok's new ENA drama "Love Doctor", starring Choo Young-woo and Kim So-hyun.

Having completed its script reading, "Human X Gumiho" is now gearing up for full-scale production and is set to be released via JTBC and Amazon Prime Video.
