Kim Nam-gil and Lee Yoo-mi to Team up as Detectives in "Nightmare - Drama"

Actors Kim Nam-gil and Lee Yoo-mi will star together in the new drama "Nightmare - Drama".

On March 18, Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) announced that the drama, led by Kim Nam-gil and Lee Yoo-mi, is scheduled to premiere early next year.

"Nightmare - Drama" is a fantasy series that follows Kim Tae-i, a detective more dangerous than gangsters, and Jang Gyoo-eun, a mysterious 'nightmare designer', as they punish criminals who cannot be brought to justice by law, by trapping them not in prison, but in nightmares.

In the drama, Kim Nam-gil plays Kim Tae-i, a detective at Nambu Police Station who, driven by his obsession to catch criminals, teams up with a vigilante group that designs nightmares.

Lee Yoo-mi takes on the role of Jang Gyoo-eun, a colleague of Kim Tae-i and an officer dedicated to victim support at the same station. Though shy in real life, she becomes a completely different person in dreams, inflicting suffering on criminals who have escaped legal punishment.

The production team stated, "Through the unique concept of punishing powerful criminals, those who cannot be confined by real-world prisons-by trapping them in 'nightmares', we hope to send a strong warning to those who evade justice. We ask for your anticipation for the powerful on-screen chemistry between Kim Nam-gil and Lee Yoo-mi, who will bring this special collaboration between a detective and a nightmare designer to life".
