Entertainment streaming service TVING announced the beginning of its grand journey by releasing its first teaser poster for "Island - Drama" (written by Oh Bo-hyeon/directed by Bae Jong) on the 7th.
"Island - Drama" is a drama based on the cartoon/webtoon of the same name by Yoon In-wan and Yang Kyung-il, which depicts the journey of characters who have a destiny to fight against evil to destroy the world.
At the center of Ireland is Kim Nam-gil, who has protected the world from evil for thousands of years. Kim Nam-gil confronts the queer fate of being immortal as he is human but not human. Lee Da-hee plays Won Mi-ho, a third-generation chaebol and a teacher. Won Mi-ho, who takes some time off on Jeju island without knowing her fate, leads a variety of stories, starting with a fateful encounter with Ban, when she is attacked by monsters for the first time in her life. Cha Eun-woo, who has transformed into the world's youngest exorcist Yo-han with the power of God, will be dispatched to Jeju island under the direction of the Vatican to show fantasy actions that have never been seen anywhere, intertwined with Ban and Won Mi-ho.
The teaser poster released shows the 'Geumgangjeo' aiming at the center of "Island - Drama" in a mysterious and gloomy atmosphere. With black clouds hanging behind the 'Geumgangjeo', where traces of countless years are felt, fragments of flame that have passed away from life shone faintly and maximized the mysterious mood. Curiosity is mounting over what the secret will be hidden by the blade that emits an unapproachable aura, and the mystery of "Island - Drama" hidden under a veil.
"Island - Drama" will be released in December and will also be released to the global market through Amazon Prime Video.
