According to a report, Kim Rae-won got into a fight with a hostess in a luxury hostess bar in Seoul on September 29th around 4AM.

His management agrees that he had a get-together in a hostess bar but claims that he was only helping to break up a fight between the hostesses, and was not in it.

However, netizens are still giving him the suspicious eye. He was familiar with the public as his filmography portrays him -- a wiry and proper young man -- but whatever the reason, his involvement with the 'hostess assault' is bringing great shame.

It is a person's right to be able to go to a hostess bar for a party or get-together. But the fact that a rumor is now spreading his name is a big mistake on his part.

Kim Rae-won needs to make sure he states clearly, in isolation from his management, that, "I went to the bar but didn't get in a fight".

For a celebrity star who is known and loved by fans the rumor alone, as it has caused disappointment, is reason enough for an apology.
