On July 1, her agency told Newsen, "Kim Tae-ri is positively reviewing the offer to star in the new drama "I'm the Queen in This Life"".

Based on the webtoon of the same name, "I'm the Queen in This Life" follows a woman who is betrayed and abandoned by her fiancé, her sister, her parents, and everyone she trusted. After traveling back 15 years in time, she sets out to take revenge on those who wronged her and become queen.

If Kim Tae-ri accepts the role, the drama will mark her first television series since tvN's "Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born", which aired in 2024, making it her small-screen comeback after three years.

Filming is scheduled to begin next year, while the broadcast schedule has yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Kim Tae-ri recently appeared in tvN's variety show "After School with Teacher Tae-ri", which concluded in April. The program drew attention as her first-ever fixed role on a variety show.
