Korea-China Song Festival to be Held in Beijing

The 9th Korea-China song festival will be held Dec. 6 in Beijing, China.

Marking the 15th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and China, the festival will feature top Korean and Chinese artists to celebrate friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

An impressive performance will be staged by traditional drum player Choi So-ri, the b-boy team T.I.P and singer Poppin Hyun-joon. Singer Maya and a Chinese singer will sign "Tianmimi" in Chinese.

To wish success for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the band Paran and Chinese singers will sing "Hand in Hand", the theme song of the 1988 Seoul Olympics.

A member of the boy band TVXQ will team with a Chinese singer to sing a song about friendship between Korea and China.

Other performers will include Lee Jung-hyun, Whee Sung and the band Baby VOX Re.V.
