Korean Animation Wins Tempere Prize

SEOUL (Yonhap) _ A South Korean animated movie won the best fiction award at the Tampere International Short Film Festival, one of the world's largest of its kind, local film officials said Monday.
"Home Sweet Home", a horror movie directed by Um Hye-jung, competed in the International Competition section of the festival, Kim Ji-seok, a chief programmer of the Busan International Film
Festival, said.
The March 9-13 competition included 35 short films from 78 countries, selected from 2,300 entries.
The Finnish event, held for the 35th time this year, is one of the world's three largest short film festivals along with the Clermont-Ferrand festival in France and and the Oberhausen festival in Germany.
