Korean Film Honored at International Film Festival

South Korean director Yang Ik-june's movie "Breathless" has fetched another international honor. The movie is about a violent gangster with a disturbing past who begins to look inside himself after befriending a school girl who also comes from a dysfunctional family.
At the 23rd Fribourg International Film Festival in Switzerland, the independent movie received the EX-CHANGE award.
The prize is awarded by the youth jury for a film that deals with problems faced by young people today.
The movie has won awards at the Netherlands' International Film Festival Rotterdam, Spain's International Film Festival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and France's Deauville Asian Film Festival.
