Born in 1985, Yoo Jae-in graduated from the Department of Printmaking at Hongik University and works as an artist in Seoul. She started directing films through workshops at Mediact and Oh!zemidong, Chungmuro Media Center. She directed the short films HAPPYHAPPY COOKINGTIME (2017), Hey, How Are You? (2019), and return to sender (2021), and won the Chung Jung-won Best Short Film award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards for Ghwa The Last Name (2023). Her first feature film, En Route To, is her graduation project from the Korean Academy of Film Arts' pre-production and feature film production research programs.
