Synopsis
Lee Soon-jin, the owner of ‘Mom’s Kitchen’, has 4 children; Jeong-hee is the firstborn who has a having nature, Jeong-soo is the second oldest who is a gallery assistant, the third is a hot-tempered policeman Jeong-chul, and finally, Jeong-woo, the youngest, suffers from developmental disability.
After their father ran away from home, Jeong-soo has been sacrificing herself to take care of the family. Because of this reason, she hardly saved any money even though she has been working at a gallery for 8 years. At the gallery, Jeong-soo meets Woo-jin, the manager and the separated husband, and falls in love with him.
Meanwhile, Jeong-soo gets a chance to meet Gyu-tak, who is the actual owner of the gallery. Gyu-tak hides his position and visits the gallery as a collector, to make an assessment of his gallery, and becomes a good friend of Jeong-soo. Gyu-tak’s true reason to visit Korea was to find his past love, and it turns out that the lover is Soon-jin, Jeong-soo’s mother.
Soon-jin wants to hide her past and leave it as a secret. Gyu-tak wishes to spend rest of his life with his lover. And Jeong-soo is distressed about mother’s past. Now, Jeong-soo’s family has gotten mixed up in the biggest scandal ever!

This drama is the story of a family stirred by the sudden appearance of the mother's past boyfriend.
It's also the story of the daughter and other family members who realize that the good mother--who is also a wife and daughter-in-law--is also a woman and human being who has her own past history.
