Synopsis
The Army's elite airborne special forces will occupy buildings in Gwangju and establish a command and control room (underground bunker) for armed suppression operations.
When the communication was barely opened due to heavy rain, he overheard a live-fire command radio from his superiors
The main characters, Major Choi and Lieutenant Kim, sense that the situation on Gwangju is unusual. The next day, the firing order finally falls, and the conflict between Major Choi, who tries to 'complete the order' as a soldier, and Lieutenant Kim, who says 'protecting the country and the people' is the duty of the soldier, reaches a climax...
Will they be able to keep their respective duties as soldiers amid the conflict between the two beliefs?
The turbulent 80s, where young people who were living at the same time had to live a very different life. And a sad history that should not be repeated, a movie that reminds us of the May 18 Democratic Movement.
