용서를 위한 여행 | yong-seo-reul wi-han yeo-haeng

Documentary

Directed by Lee Sung-soo (이성수)

77min | Release date in South Korea:

Synopsis
Love one another. Even today, in this land, the closest yet most distant, a land where hatred, resentment, and love and hate intersect, some 1,500 Korean missionaries serve with sweat and tears. Protestantism began 30 years earlier than Korea, yet the evangelization rate remains stagnant at 0.4%, weighed down by the idolatry of the emperor system and shrine culture. With the desire to bring light to 130 million souls amidst this darkness, 12 riders will cycle 2,300 kilometers over 34 days. This journey, a journey to move beyond a history of wounds and beyond hatred toward love, will lead us to what we will find at the end of this journey.
