Synopsis
An ID Card = Inheritance? No, a diploma = Inheritance!
Arrogant and immature, Jae-kyung, the third-generation heir to a chaebol family, fears nothing and has no real goals in life. Once he gets his national ID card, he’ll inherit billions, so what’s the point of worrying about anything?
But the day after he receives his ID card, a shocking message arrives: his grandfather’s will. To inherit the fortune, Jae-kyung must earn a diploma from Boram High School, a small rural school deep in the mountains of Gangwon-do! Who knew there was something in this world that wouldn’t go his way?
With no choice, Jae-kyung heads to the countryside. The only way he can think of to escape this rural school and still get his inheritance is to get expelled. He picks a fight with Myung-sik, who looks like the school’s resident tough guy, but instead of expulsion, he finds himself welcomed by the warmth of Myung-sik’s family meals. He tries bribing the principal to kick him out, but receives nothing in return except a lecture filled with the principal’s educational convictions. It seems that in this place, any mistake can be forgiven. Jae-kyung has no choice but to actually attend school.
