Synopsis
Tak, who brought the sexual violence cases in the publishing and literary worlds to public attention, struggles to rebuild her life amidst the daily routine shattered by the #MeToo movement. Her daily life, opening her eyes, eating, washing, and leaving the house, is filled with recurring tension and a battle with herself. The place where Tak finally finds her footing is "The Landing Technique of a Strong Woman," an art-recovery community created by survivors and their allies. Every week, they gather in a safe space to share snacks, vent their anger toward the returning perpetrator, and cry and laugh together. They also plan and operate art programs for various sexual violence survivors and allies, expanding this safe shared space.
However, this community is not perfect either. Expectations are dashed, wounds are exposed, and relationships sometimes experience cracks. The film follows the past five years of struggle to speak, move, and reconnect within these imperfect relationships. Tak and the members of "The Landing Technique of a Strong Woman" practice their own landings along the slow ridge of recovery, each at their own pace.
