"Land of Scarecrows" is a coproduction between South Korea and France
The movie depicts the inharmonious relationships, which cause an inevitable tragedy. A Filipina Rein comes to Korea to earn money. She falls in love with Ji-young and marries him but is shocked to discover that he is a transgender. She encounters another Filipino Loittan and finds herself drawn to him. Not knowing that Loittan’s adoptive father is her husband, Rein promises Loittan to meet his father together. 15 and over.
