Synopsis
"I'm not an abandoned dog! My true master is me."
Moongchi, once a beloved pet, suddenly finds himself abandoned by his owner and left to fend for himself on the streets. The seasoned stray Jjang-ah appears and shatters Moongchi's unwavering belief in his owner's promise to return. Accepting the harsh reality, Moongchi gradually adapts to street life with Jjang-ah's group. One day, he encounters a pack of wild dogs led by Bami, who have never lost their primal instincts in the forest. For the first time, Moongchi dreams of true freedom.
However, their safe haven is destroyed by humans, and Bami's pack falls prey to ruthless dog hunters. With danger closing in, Moongchi and his friends embark on a perilous journey north, crossing treacherous roads and razor-sharp barbed wire. Will they reach the fabled land, a place untouched by humans, where fireflies dance over endless green meadows?
