Synopsis
"There's poetry all around us, it's everywhere you look!"

Though they jokingly say, "When you're old, you're just waiting to die," Yeong-ran, Choon-sim, In-soon, and Boon-han head to school each day without fail. These elderly women, who have long buried the sorrow of being illiterate, now attend an adult literacy school that teaches them to read and write in Korean.

One day, PD Seok-goo, a documentary filmmaker known for hard-hitting investigative journalism, hears their story on the radio and visits Palbok Literacy School. Faced with budget cuts and the threat of closure, teacher Ga-eul proposes that Seok-goo help share the grandmas’ poetry with the world.

Though hesitant at first, "Not just anyone can write poetry!", the women begin to uncover verse hidden in their everyday lives, like a treasure waiting to be found…
