Synopsis
Hyeon-jeong, a newlywed, had recently moved into a local apartment with her husband, Ji-tae, and was overjoyed by her unexpected stroke of luck. After enduring a difficult time due to noise issues in her previous home, she had longed for a quiet place with proper soundproofing. Perhaps because most of the residents were dual-income couples, the entire complex was eerily quiet — like a ghost town. She began to wonder, 'Do people even live here?'. But upon closer observation of her new neighbors, she realized it wasn't that the soundproofing was excellent — everyone was simply holding their breath, living in silence. One day, after stepping out briefly, Hyeon-jeong returned to find clear signs that someone had entered and rummaged through her room. Alarmed, she rushed to the management office, only to be told that no outsiders had been seen entering the building. Instead, she found a warning note posted on her front door: "Warning! We know you're newlyweds, but please keep it down!". Feeling suffocated by the sense that someone was watching her every move, Hyeon-jeong begins to uncover the truth. The apartment manager, Goo-ro — a figure who rules like a tyrant by exploiting the secrets and weaknesses of female residents (such as Min-ji) — slowly begins to reveal his true nature.
