Synopsis
"Pavane" follows three emotionally closed-off individuals who slowly become a ray of light for one another, ultimately learning to face life and love again. This is the latest work from acclaimed director Lee Jong-pil ("Escape", "Samjin Company English Class"). Go Ah-sung ("Because I Hate Korea", "A Resistance") plays Mi-jeong, a department store salesperson who keeps her world tightly sealed, doing everything she can to avoid being seen. Byun Yo-han ("Black Out", "Following", "Uncle Sam-sik") transforms into Yo-han, a free-spirited man working in the store's parking lot. Rising star Moon Sang-min ("Cinderella at 2 AM", "Wedding Impossible", "Under the Queen's Umbrella") joins the cast as Gyeong-rok, who develops feelings for Mi-jeong after meeting her at his part-time job. With the trio's never-before-seen chemistry and director Lee's signature nuanced touch, the film promises to deliver a profoundly new portrait of love.
