Synopsis
Life on the road wasn't easy for a traditional blacksmith in 1970's Korea. Aging Tae-seok is a blacksmith with vagrant habits, moving from one local market to another for over 20 years. One day on the road, he comes upon a young girl Sin-yeong who is heading for her father's funeral. Tae-seok soon finds out she is the daughter of his old friend Deuk-soo, who had ruined Tae-seok's life taking his fortune and beloved wife long ago. Memories from 20 years earlier surface as Tae-seok and Sin-yeong continue towards their destinations. At the funeral of Deuk-soo, a long mistaken truth is revealed.
