Synopsis
In-ho is riding in a guide's car on a congested road in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Needing to attend a business meeting in Darkhan today, In-ho spots a train station and, pressed for time, impulsively boards a train just as it is about to depart. There, he encounters Ano, his first love from six years ago and the object of his unrequited affection, who is working as a train attendant. Surprisingly... this is despite the fact that Ano died in a car accident in Mongolia three years ago. In-ho is dumbfounded. Ano recognizes him instantly and says he is glad to see him after six years. Flustered, In-ho barely hears what Ano says. He slaps his cheek to see if he is dreaming. But it is reality. The train rattles slowly as it departs for Darkhan. Ano looks exactly the same as he did six years ago. Upon seeing Ano, In-ho is reminded of memories buried in the past...

Thinking that perhaps Ano didn't actually die and he had been mistaken, In-ho feels a surge of desire to reconcile with her now that he is on the train, regardless of whether it is a dream or not. However, realizing through the journey that the time and space of 2022—before Ano's death—and the present of 2025—where In-ho lives—are intertwined, Inho jumps off the moving train with her in his arms to save Ano, who is destined to meet her death if left alone. Thus, the journey of In-ho in 2025—his present where Ano cannot exist—unfolds against the backdrop of the Mongolian steppes.
