Synopsis
"It's just one piglet dying, why is everyone making such a fuss?"
In 1998, shortly after the IMF crisis, in the rural village of Seoburi. "Pig Grandma" reigned supreme over the piglet "Wang Don-i," the linchpin of the village economy. But one day, Wang Don-i dies mysteriously, and the peaceful village is suddenly torn apart.
The village head, intent on concealing the truth, the barber vying for power, the young farmer tracking down the dead pig, and the Pig Grandma, consumed by a bizarre desire, all work their calculators. As they do, the village is consumed by a contagious wave of greed and conspiracy.
The death of a single pig triggers catastrophe.
Where will those who choose desire over truth end up?
