Synopsis
News reporter Seon-joo suspects foul play in her niece's sudden death as she discovers the teenager and three other friends died from heart attack at the exact same moment, after returning from a trip together. Seon-joo's rather eerie presentiments to their death is shared by Choi Yeol, the pathologist who conducted the autopsy on her niece. While following the kid's trail, Seon-joo finds an unlabeled videotape at the condominium where the group stayed. In search of any clues, Seon-joo plays the tape which reveals horrifying and grotesque images followed by a life-threatening message. To make matters worse, the critical part of the message with a life-saving solution to the deadly curse is incomprehensible. Choi joins the deadly crusade after being exposed to the videotape, and points out that the images might not be video recordings but telekinetic recording of the past, projected through a girl with supernatural powers. As Seon-joo and Choi work to solve the mystery, the film provokes the fear of the paranormal as well as the hermaphrodite nature of contemporary society.
