Synopsis
Seok-i meets Yeon-i near the brook. She is landowner Yoon's grand daughter from Seoul. After a while Yeon-i tries to make friends with him and Seok-i avoids her, Seok-i finds himself lonely when she is not seen for a few days. One day they run into a shower while they were out on the field. They go under the shed and come back home safely but Yeon-i's poor health brings fever to her. As she recovers, she comes to the brook and tells Seok-i that she is moving to the town. Later on that same day, he runs back to the brook to give her walnuts but she is not there. His father informs him of her death on his way home and Seok-i swallows his tears in silence.
