Korean Movie | 2025

삼춘, 어디 감수광? | sam-chon, eo-di gam-su-gwang

Drama

Directed by Yang Yoon-ho (양윤호)

126min | Release date in South Korea:

Synopsis
"Sim-cheong is gone, leaving only Ppaengdeok-eomi and Sim Bong-sa. Today, they follow her north in search of Sim-cheong."

A peculiar journey of three people that began in Jeju. Jeong-won, a disabled singer from Jeju suffering from an illness. Mi-jeong, who dreams of becoming an actor, singer, director, and professor but is always blocked by reality. Yoon-ho, who was once at the center of commercial cinema but now finds even the title of 'director' meaningless. These are artists who stand on the road of their own accord; during their journey, they transform into Sim Bong-sa and Ppaengdeok-eomi, diving into a parody of "The Tale of Sim-cheong" that traverses the boundaries between reality and drama.

The story encounters cars, paintings, pottery, and, even deeper, people. A puppy named 'Nana' accompanies them on this journey. Like Nana, these mute beings and those with talkative pasts simply walk, laugh, fall ill, sing, and film. A cheerful and philosophical self-restoration road movie by failed artists. For these people, whose lives are film itself, cinema is their final love.
