Synopsis
Cheong-hae steals his friends' paintings and sells them off for a living. A failed artist, Cheong-hae meets an AWOL North Korean soldier named Hong-san. Cheong-hae uses Hong-san in his money making scheme but Hong-san secretly harbors a dream to join the French Foreign Legion. What starts out as a friendship out of necessity grows into something more profound as these two social outcasts develop sympathy for one another. Cheong-hae is secretly grateful to Hong-san who sticks with him through thick and thin and Hong-san hurts for his friend's struggles to survive.
