Why Full-access to HanCinema Is Now Paying

• It's currently impossible to keep HanCinema running as it is with advertising only
• Please subscribe and enjoy ad-free browsing

• HanCinema doesn't rely on free labour to get updated. Everyone working at HanCinema is getting paid.

• Advertising revenue has gone down 80% over the past few years even with adding more intrusive ads. So we got rid of them, notably the data mining ones, to convince you that they're not worth it. They're not real ads anymore anyway.

• When you subscribe, you support HanCinema directly.

• Once 100% is reached, HanCinema is sustainable.

Synopsis
Contrary to popular belief, the 1994 short film "The White Man" is not director Bong Joon-ho's first film. The documentary is about a young Bong Joon-ho and traces to find the unreleased hidden first film of the director, "Looking for Paradise", a short stop motion animation that was only screened once on Christmas Day in 1992 in front of "Yellow Door", a small film club of about 10 people.

Where was the film we saw back then? What happened to Yellow Door at that time?
