Synopsis
Chi-soo struggles to get through medical school due to his difficult family circumstances. During his school years, he practically lived at the home of his longtime friend Eun-cheol, where he naturally grew close to Eun-cheol's younger sister, Eun-soo, whom he eventually married. However, their love did not last long. In the second year of their marriage, while in his third year of residency, Chi-soo falls into a period of stagnation. During this time, he meets Monica (Soo-hee), who falsely claims to have worked as an international lawyer in the United States before coming to Korea and introduces herself as the only daughter of a wealthy family. Captivated by her appearance, background, and seemingly perfect circumstances, Chi-soo begins to contemplate divorcing his wife to be with Monica.
