On February 10th, Lee Je-hoon's agency, COMPANY ON, confirmed to Newsen, "Lee Je-hoon has confirmed his appearance in the new SBS drama, "The Long Shot Trial"".
"The Long Shot Trial" is a legal drama that tells the story of a protagonist who has been disbarred and goes on to establish a law firm with a group of misfits.
The series is based on the 2018 Japanese TV Asahi drama "Legal V ~Ex-Lawyer Shoko Takanashi~". In the original version, the lead role was played by Ryoko Yonekura, but in the Korean adaptation, the female lead has been changed to a male character. The story follows a once-successful lawyer who, after being disbarred due to a certain incident, refuses to leave the legal world. Instead, he gathers a group of problematic lawyers to form a new firm and takes on major law firms and powerful figures in court, delivering a satisfying sense of justice.
Lee Je-hoon will play the role of the disbarred former lawyer, while Ha Young, Ok Ja-yeon, Lee Jae-won, and Cho Seong-ha are being mentioned as part of the main and supporting cast lineup, further raising anticipation.
Lee Je-hoon recently received great love for his role as taxi driver Kim Do-gi in the SBS drama "Taxi Driver 3", which recently concluded. After even winning the Grand Prize at the SBS Drama Awards at the end of the year, attention is now focused on his next project, and the confirmation of his appearance in "The Long Shot Trial" is thrilling fans.
