It joins "Steel Rain2: Summit" and "Peninsula" in bringing life back to local cinemas that were hit hard by the coronavirus epidemic.
Lee reunites with Hwang Jung-min for the first time since their 2013 hit "New World". Hwang plays a hit man, and Lee chases him all the way to Thailand to avenge his brother's death.
The lack of original plot and flat characters are made up for by hardboiled action and relentless chase scenes.
As of Saturday, "Peninsula", the sequel to zombie hit "Train to Busan", had lured 3.65 million viewers.
