MBC's Friday-Saturday drama "The Red Sleeve" unveiled Lee Junho's first scene.
Lee Junho is changing into a Goryongpo. The crown prince's dignity and charisma can be felt intact from him, who is standing upright despite the busy hands of the court lady. Lee Junho's heavy yet cold eyes, wrinkles between his eyes, and tight lips reveal his unshakable solemnity. Curiosity builds on how, a strict and arrogant crown prince, will change as he falls in love.
Based on Kang Mi-gang's novel of the same name, "The Red Sleeve" depicts the mournful court romance of an Emperor, to whom his country comes before love and a court lady who wants to protect the life of her choice. Lee Junho is drawing attention as this is his first comeback after discharge.
Lee Junho plays Yi San, the strict and arrogant perfectionist crown prince. He constantly tries to become a saint, but his father's death remains a trauma to his heart. However, when he meets a brave court lady, Seong Deok-im (Lee Se-young), he begins to show love he didn't even know he had. He, who will become King Jeongjo of Joseon in the future, will show his irresistible charm by exchanging images of a charismatic, cool-headed monarch and a man with a passionate love for success.
The production team said, "Lee Junho is preparing to visit viewers with great enthusiasm as it is his first drama to be shown since his discharge from the military. He is also well-known as a hard worker, so he is making every effort to analyze his character to create Lee Junho's version of Yi San. You will be able to feel Lee Junho's acting and charm".
Meanwhile, MBC's Friday-Saturday drama "The Red Sleeve" will premiere in November.
