On July 2nd, his agency, MYM Entertainment, told Ilgan Sports, "Lee Min-ho has received an offer to star in the new drama "Virtual Love" (working title) and is currently reviewing it".

"Virtual Love" is a romantic comedy about an office worker who discovers that a member of the virtual idol group that helps them get through the hardships of everyday life is actually their boss at work. The drama is reportedly set to be directed by Jang Young-seok, who previously helmed "The Winning Try".

Lee Min-ho has been offered the role of Cha Wook-hyeon, the general director of a game company. Although he appears to be perfect in every way, his cold and demanding personality has earned him a reputation as the worst boss in the office. The character also features a comedic twist, as unexpected circumstances lead him to debut as a member of a virtual idol group.

Earlier this year, Lee Min-ho was cast in the film "Assassins", which is scheduled to be released during Korea's Chuseok holiday. If he accepts "Virtual Love", it will mark his return to the small screen for the first time in two years since tvN's "When the Stars Gossip".

Meanwhile, the production team of "Virtual Love" is currently casting both lead and supporting roles, with filming slated to begin later this year.
