Actor Lee Min-ho, who is starring in writer Kim Eun-sook's latest, proved his undying popularity.

The power of the Hallyu star was proven when he made it to 1st place in the Weibo Star Chart, which is the equivalent of a popularity barometer.

Lee scored high in four categories of Weibo's Star Chart; the number of views, interactive index, social influence and affection index to realize his popularity in China despite his absence due to alternative service.

Lee Min-ho is coming back in the 2020 drama "The King: Eternal Monarch", the latest by writer Kim Eun-sook who worked on "Descendants of the Sun" with producer Baek Sang-hoon.
